Linear Regression Calculator

Paste your X and Y data to get the regression equation, slope, intercept, correlation and R squared, then read what each number means. For a full analysis with assumption checks, hand it to a statistician.

Separate values with commas, spaces or new lines. X and Y must have the same count.

Need multiple predictors, assumption checks and a written results section? See regression in SPSS, or have a statistician run it.

How to read your results

Reporting it (APA)A simple linear regression predicted Y from X. The model was y = b·x + a, with R² = .__, meaning X explained about __ percent of the variance in Y.

When a calculator is not enough

This tool gives the correct numbers for simple regression, but a graded assignment usually needs more: checking linearity, independence, equal variance and normal residuals, handling outliers, and writing the result the way your course expects. Multiple regression with several predictors also needs the coefficient table, standardised betas and multicollinearity checks. Our regression in SPSS guide walks through all of it, and a statistician can run and interpret your data end to end.

Want it run and interpreted for you?

Send your data and a statistician runs the regression, checks the assumptions, and writes the results before your deadline.
